A weekend festival based in the Bahamas was set to kick off on Friday, April 28th. Instead American vacationers got to a desolate beach with left over FEMA tents with no furniture. The tents were sold for upwards of $12,000 each for the weekend, but the concert goers quickly figured out something was wrong.
There are reports of people not getting their luggage all night, untoasted cheese sandwiches being served, and general chaos because no one seemed to know what was going on.
#FyreFestival has been trending #1 on Twitter for the past few hours, and some of the pictures posted tell the story.
